Except for sealed bottled water, no outside food or beverages are allowed.
Can I bring a folding chair?
We do not allow outside chairs to be brought into the event. We will have plenty of seating available in the Mess Hall area if you need to sit and take a break.
Do you have any type of coat/bag check.

If I have lost my tickets, what do I do?
Are there any special accommodations for WWII Veterans?
If you are bringing a WWII veteran please register them to be an honoree and they will receive special comped VIP seating, comped dinner and drinks and a thank you from the stage! Just email email@example.com to find out how.
If I purchased reserved seating, does everyone in my party need a ticket?
We have a VIP manager that will be reaching out to everyone who purchased VIP seating to get names and to give you the appropriate check in info 2 weeks before the Ball. This will ensure a smooth arrival for everyone in your party.
My VIP party would like to be seated with another VIP party. Is this possible?
This is not a problem. We have a VIP manager that will be reaching out to everyone who purchased VIP seating to get names and to give everyone the appropriate check-in info 2 weeks before the Ball. During this time, please let our manager know who you would like to sit with and we will accommodate you.
If I purchased Early Bird Tickets, where/when do I pick up my souvenir?
Early bird souvenirs can be picked up at any time during the event at the merch booth. Please see your map/schedule that you will receive at check-in for exact location. Please note it’s 1 souvenir per order.
Can I get a refund for my ticket?
Tickets are non-refundable. All sales are final and the event is rain, snow or shine. We do not offer refunds due to scheduling conflicts, illness, or other personal issues (under any circumstances). The value of an unused GA ticket can be applied to the summer or winter event the following year — just email us at firstname.lastname@example.org when tickets go on sale and we will look up your order and if they were unused we’ll send you new tickets. You do not need to do anything now. *This must be done at least 1 month before the event you’d like to transfer to–requests less than 1 month out will not be accepted. VIP tickets can be transferred as well, however, you must let us know at least 1 week prior to the event you purchased tickets for so that we can cancel your catering order. Please email email@example.com to set this up. VIP transfer requests after 1 week prior to the event will not be accepted.

What food do you serve? Can you accommodate special dietary concerns?
Is there lodging available for the event?
Is there shuttle service available to and from the sponsor hotels?
Unfortunately no. If you are unable to drive, we recommend calling a taxi, Lyft or UBER.
Is there parking at the event?
Is the event outside?
Most of it is. The Main Stage, VIP area, food vendors, bars, dance floor, general seating, plane show, camps, shop vendors, car show and restrooms are all located outside. Rick’s Cafe American, the Cafe Stage, roulette and photo booth are in the Blue Hangar.
We highly recommend bringing sunscreen, sunglasses, umbrellas (just in case) and jackets with you to the event.
Is dressing 1940s mandatory?
We strongly advise 1940‘s themed evening attire, party dresses and/or uniforms. Actual vintage dress is best, however if you cannot find period attire to wear, women can wear a modern dress that is cut like those from the era with vintage accents such as vintage jewelry and/or a flower in their hair and men can wear a modern suit that looks similar to those of the era with accents like a fedora, suspenders or a bow tie. Please be aware that the event is at an active airport and the ground is uneven in some areas and has grass and gravel, we recommend comfortable shoes.
Are there special accommodations for those with a handicap?
The entire event is handicap accessible, we offer handicap parking and folks with wheelchairs are able to access most areas. There is grass and gravel, but everything is on one level.
If I am volunteering what do I wear? How do I check in?
If you are working set up, please wear comfortable clothing. If you are working the event please see attendee guidelines above. We will be in touch approximately 2 weeks before the event w/checkin details.
Are children allowed at the event?
As the 1940’s Ball is a romantic date night, children 12 and under are not permitted. Every other year we do the Ball in collaboration with Boulder Airport day so that families can come out and enjoy the planes and some of the displays during the day. Please check with the Boulder Airport to see if this is happening this year.
